About FerrOz
Ferroz is a dedicated supplier and technical training provider of dense medium ferrosilicon products to the mining and scrap metal recycling industries with the production facility located in Anyang, Henan province of China. They share a ferrosilicon research laboratory and pilot plant in West Pretoria, South Africa with PESCO who also provide the comprehensive technical dense medium related training sessions. Our goal is therefore to assist customers to optimise separation efficiency and at the same time minimise FeSi consumption.
Will Blair
Will Blair has more than 40 years experience in the world wide dense medium ferrosilicon industry covering processing, technical service, marketing and management, primarily with Samancor/BHP Billiton/DMS Powders. He took early retirement from DMS Powders in 2007 and formed Ferroz in 2010.
Dave Willetts
Dave Willetts has a metallurgical background and has been involved in the logistics and marketing of dense media FeSi for more than 30 years with Samancor/DMS Powders and Ferroz.
Jeremy Bosman
Jeremy Bosman is the Technical Advisor to Ferroz and conducts their customer technical training sessions. Jeremy holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Operations Research. In 1987 he joined Multotec in the cyclones division where he worked for 16 years. In 2003 he formed PESCO, a process consulting company. From 2003 to 2013 he lectured Mineral Processing at the University of Pretoria. As a consultant, he has mainly worked on projects involving Fe minerals i.e. iron ore and magnetite. Together with Ferroz, he has established a dense medium testing facility where medium characterisation and pilot plant testing is done. https://www.pesco.za.net/
Anyang Jiaoyubei Metallurgy Factory
Ferroz and Anyang Jiaoyubei Metallurgy Factory situated in Henan province of China enjoy a long collaborative association over many years. Domestic sales are conducted through Jiaoyubei and all exports are done through Anyang Pengda Metal Material Co., Ltd. Ferroz is their world-wide distributor of dense media ferrosilicon products.
